Do I need an account?+
No. There is no sign-up, no login and no server. You open the app and start recording.
Does it work offline?+
Completely. Prayer times are calculated on device from solar position, so the app works in Airplane Mode and with no connection at all.
How accurate are the prayer times?+
The app derives solar declination and the equation of time for the day and solves for each prayer's defining altitude. It offers ten authority presets, both Asr methods and high-latitude rules, and it has been checked against published timetables. Local timetables can still differ, so you can adjust each prayer by up to thirty minutes to match a mosque you trust.
What happens near the poles?+
Inside the polar circles, where the sun neither rises nor sets, no night exists to derive a fallback from. Those prayers are reported as unavailable with an explanation rather than given an invented time.
Is my data sent anywhere?+
No. There is no backend, no cloud sync, no analytics and no advertising. Everything stays in the app's private storage on your device.
Can I export or delete everything?+
Yes. Settings has a JSON export of your complete history and a permanent delete-all-data action.
Does a missed day count against me?+
No. The absence of a record is simply the absence of a record — 'not logged' never means 'missed'. Only an explicit action from you writes a missed state, and exempt days earn nothing and break nothing.
Is there a streak or a leaderboard?+
Runs are always per practice, never combined, and nothing is shared or compared with anyone. There is deliberately no app-wide streak.
Why is there no Quran text in the reader?+
Scripture text is gated behind a verified licence for the Arabic and written permission for any English translation. Until that is in place, no text is bundled. The Quran screen still ships surah reference metadata, position tracking, reading-session logging and goal progress.
Which devices are supported?+
iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18 and later.
